On Saturday, our community was putting on an "
Eggstravaganza" for the kids in all of the military neighborhoods. I thought it would be a fun time to take Riley to see the Easter bunny and participate in the
easter egg hunt. Riley was less than thrilled to sit on the Easter bunny's lap. It was nap time for Riley and it was definitely showing on her face. After our short visit with the Easter bunny we walked over to the field where all the
easter eggs were placed. Riley didn't want anything to do with them either. Not to mention you had to be 2 years old to participate in the egg hunt. It wasn't really much of a hunt anyway, the eggs were out in the open.
Afterwards we drove to the North Shore and had dinner at our favorite place,
Cholo's. Riley took a nice hour nap on the ride there. All in all it was a fun day, even if we didn't get to collect any
easter eggs!

Where are all the eggs? I hope they told the kids if they were getting hot or cold.
