Trick or Treat

It's hard to believe that this is Riley's second Halloween. Last year she was a little devil and this year she was a Rose Fairy courtesy of Kiki! A big thank you to Kiki for the adorable Halloween costume. Before we took Riley trick or treating we attended a Halloween party put on by the church that our neighbors attend. They had games, face painting, costume contests and a hayride. Trey volunteered to be the driver of the hayride.
Here is a shot of the hayride. And below you can see Trey dressed up as a redneck!! I'm not so sure it's a far stretch from his regular self!

Riley took a ride and enjoyed herself. She liked sitting on top of the haystack.

After attending the party Trey and I took Riley trick or treating. We only went to about five houses. She doesn't need a ton of candy and we just wanted her to get to experience the fun of Halloween! After each house she put the candy in her bag and then would walk to the end of the sidewalk and look in her bag to make sure the candy was in there. It was pretty funny!

When we got home Riley dumped her candy on the floor and started putting each piece in her mouth with the wrappers still on. I opened up a snickers for her and she chomped down on the chocolate. Here is a cute picture with her headband on eating her snickers bar. Riley wouldn't keep this headband on for the life of her, but I managed to sneak one picture!
