Outtakes
As I was trying to take some pictures of Hadley to capture her at 3months old, Riley just had to be apart of the action. She climbed herself right up into the chair so she could be in the pictures. And then after every picture I'd take Riley had to get out of the chair to see what the picture looked like.
Typical Riley face!! Love her!!
Look at those baby blues. She's gets them from her momma!!
Doesn't Trey look thrilled that I'm taking pictures?? I can't help it...I try to capture as many moments as possible. And I like to see how small Hadley looks in Trey's arms, because she looks like a giant in mine! My little baby girl ;)

Miss Independent
Riley is definitely miss do it herself. She doesn't want any one's help for anything. I think it's a great thing because she is learning how to do things for herself. Here are the updates on what Riley is doing on her own:
*putting on her shoes(which she gets frustrated about sometimes when she has them on the wrong feet)
*unloading the dishwasher(while I put the dishes away)
*putting her dirty dishes into the dishwasher
*choosing her outfit for the day(she won't wear anything that she doesn't take out of her drawers)
*brushing her hair
*taking her diaper off(not always a good thing)
*putting her pants on
*climbing into the car
*washing her hands
*climbing in & out of the bathtub
That's just a short list of things that I can think of at the present moment. I am so proud of her. Of course there are times that I miss having to lift her up to put her in the bathtub. She throws a fit now when I try to put her in the bathtub because she can do it on her own. I still think of her as my baby, but she's growing into a "big girl." Oh, I forgot to mention how she can unlock the sliding glass door and go outside by herself. NOT a good thing! I've caught her a few times outside. The only good thing about that is she put her shoes on before going outside. On Monday we were outside all day long. Riley didn't even take a nap because she was playing so nicely. Towards the end of the day Riley took it upon herself to walk down to the playground by herself! Trey looks down the hill and tells me to look at our daughter. I thought she was in the pool playing. I can't turn my back for a minute! She was no longer in the pool, she was walking down to the park with not a care in the world. The only good thing is that we can see the playground from our house. My, oh, my do I have my hands full!
The picture I have posted of Riley was from her wanting to wear a headband because Hadley was wearing a headband. I was thinking to myself, "oh, Riley wants to be girly today!" Well as you can see the headband was just a toy for Riley. She decided it was more fun to blindfold herself and walk around running into things rather than wear it on her head! Got to love her!

Valentine's Day
We had a nice Valentine's Day here at the Prewitt house. The girls got some nice Valentine's from Poppy & Grandma Kathy, and from Nana. Trey went out early in the morning and came home with a Godiva box for me. It was filled with 4 jumbo chocolate covered strawberries and a shish kabob made of chocolate covered bananas and strawberries. That treat was much needed!! Then we pretty much spent the entire day outside playing, except for nap time and feeding time! Riley cruised around on her bike and in her mustang. However, Riley took a ton of spills outside and scraped her knees all up. Most of her falls she got right back up and kept running. But her last one she started crying. I guess you can only fall on pavement so many times before it really hurts. I put some neosporin on her scrapes and a band-aid to make her feel better. Two seconds later Riley wanted her band-aid off. She's not a fan of them! All in all it was a great day spent with the ones I love. The beautiful 80 degree, sunny day made it all that more enjoyable too!

Passed Out
Round 2
So I gave in and we are now proud owners of an American Cocker Spaniel. Her name is Hula and she is 3 months old. Just what I need is another baby to take care of. But I was tired of being the mean mom/wife that always said no to having a dog. And when I saw this cutie it was much to hard to say no. She was sweet as could be! In all actuality she's a really good puppy. She doesn't bark at all and is laid back. Hula does have her moments of nipping on your toes, but she's a puppy. Riley is super excited about the puppy most of the time. Riley isn't a fan of being licked on the face or having her toes bitten. Riley does love to run around the house and have Hula follow her. It's really cute to watch. What's not really cute is me cleaning up pee and poop off the floor! I can't wait for the puppy to be potty trained, along with Riley! So if you are trying to call me and I don't answer, it's probably because I've now got 3 babies under the age of 2!

Oh, and if you are wondering about our name choice it's because we wanted to choose a Hawaiian name for her. Trey was looking at a list of Hawaiian names asking me how to pronounce them. I had no idea. So I skimmed down the list and saw Hula(meaning "to dance") and we both liked it a lot. So we named her Hula! Love it!

No Snow Here!
But then we all quickly got over our jealousy. The past few days have been absolutely beautiful here. It's been in the low 80's with the best trade winds blowing. Riley has been busy riding her bike and cruising in her mustang. The mustang was rather dirty so Trey was showing Riley how to wash it right. She was having a blast scrubbing her mustang down. So while most of you are stuck in a couple feet of snow, we'll keep enjoying the sunshine for you!!

Happy Feet
The time has come for Hadley to try out the jumperoo. Riley was a huge fan of the jumperoo when she was younger and I'm hoping for the same outcome with Hadley. I honestly believe that it helped strengthen Riley's legs which is why she was such an early walker. I didn't think that Hadley's legs would reach the floor, but surprisingly enough, they did!
Hadley seemed to enjoy her first time in the jumperoo. She was moving it up and down as much as her petite legs would allow her to. Of course her big sister had to get in on the action. Trey and I had to keep reminding Riley to be gentle. Riley liked to bounce Hadley rather harshly. Even though Hadley didn't seem to mind Riley's roughness, Trey and I preferred a more gentle approach. I am looking forward to when Hadley becomes a bit more active so she can really start bouncing!
